Hibben BRONZE Hornet Internet Exclusive #12 of 14

This is one of a special limited edition of 14 BRONZE HORNET KNIVES with custom made display stands and certificates of authenticity personally signed by Mr. Gil Hibben.

The Hornet was the 8th edition of Gil's Fantasy Series designed by Gil and manufactured by United Cutlery. These were originally released in 1997 and have long since been discontinued.

Gil acquired 15 Hornet knives, he then:
- personally resurface ground each knife
- acid etched his custom logo onto the blade,
- had the cross guard and pommel copper plated with a very nice rubbed bronze patina overlay,
- re-wrapped the grips with bronze twisted wire to replace the gold wire
- acid etched each one HIBBEN KNIVES INTERNET EXCLUSIVE BRONZE SPECIAL EDITION.
- and had each one individually serial numbered 1 thru 14

These special limited edition knives come with a custom made display stand made from perforated sheet steel with a hard wood base and a slip of copper from his shop that he surface ground and then signed, numbered and mounted to the stands.

This run of knives also has something extra, each knife comes with a matching serial numbered Certificate Of Authenticity printed on Hibben Knives Letterhead featuring his Rambo III Bowie Knife that is personally signed by Gil Hibben.

He only had 15 made, one prototype to work out the ideas and 14 in the set. The pictures are example pictures of #01.
