This very special Limited Edition knive commemorates Gil Hibben's 50 years as a custom knifemaker. The Southern Bowie was one of the first knives that Gil designed and made when he began his knifemaking career in 1957.

This beautiful knife features a 9 1/2 inch blade of 5/16 inch thick mirror polished 440C stainless steel. The overall length is 15 inches. The heavy brass guard and pommel compliment the stunning Makassar Ebony handle. The blade is etched with a special anniversary logo featuring Gil's signature and likeness.

Each knife comes complete with a custom fitted handmade leather sheath, a special anniversary nylon zippered pouch, and a personally signed certificate of authenticity.
